im over job agent thinking that there's is shit wrong with my resume and my interview skill to get a job tho all it is, is my licence. iv been knocked back from over 40 jobs because of my licence and im over them putting me in to course iv done be for like the skills and training course and interview courses its not like Iv never had a job be for if the government wants the really do something about the unemployed people u should do something about that retarted licence 100hrs is extremely hard to do if ur on a low income and don't have a mother or father to get the hours done and it makes it harder when u have a family of your own to look after so government fix that shit up and give the licences to the responsible people that want to get a job and work to support there family, cz I can hold a job tho, you cant expect someone people with out a licence to get a job easy its hard and you ask a job agenty if a person with a licence applys for a job and someone with out on but more experience that person with the licence and car will get the job not the more experienced per son its kinda said, so government there is a way you can make Australia a better place you should scrap that 100hrs and do like a diving programe where u sit though a 1 day course for the experience people and non experience a 1-5mnth course and teach them how to drive and what to do, cuz thers way too many cockheads getting there licences this day XD

Every time your provider signs you up for a training course they receive a tax payer funded financial bonus. Next time they try to sign you up for an irrelevant course, (3 day barista course anyone?) ask them if it will lead to a full-time, ongoing job.

My understanding is that the job agencies, since I've had to deal with them, have increased powers to stop payments to the poorest. most marginalised people in our society. Yet these agencies and their staff are accountable to no one. They exist as a de facto organisation to stop paying recipients legitimate entitlements and that is all. What a waste of our tax, which should be spent creating real, ongoing jobs and, when that fails, providing a liveable income. VOTE and demand, when Labor win the next election, that job agencies are closed. Then demand that Newstart is raised to a liveable income. Demand free TAFE. Get ouyt there. Now is the time.

A word about my daughter. She has a mortgage on a flat in Carlton which has been on the market for years. She can't sell it. Because it is rented at $320 per week, she cannot get Newstart. She is not eligible for a free TAFE course in horticulture (which would really help her on her way) and has been refused a health care card. Now in in the process of a second or third review. Consequently, she frequently has to do without meds for migraines and any recurring health issues. She can barely afford to feed herself, let alone go to a doctor. I could add that she pays $200 a week rent in a share house. That doesn't leave much wiggle room, especially given that she has to find money to keep the flat in Carlton going: there are water rates, owner's corporation etc, but, as long as she's unemployed with no access to gain employment through any support networks or access ton concessions because she's technically "outside the system", there's none of those negative gearing benefits which accrue to those who don't need them.

I'd further like to add, that any government which relies on parents to keep footing bills for adult children, on the strength that those parents gained skills and employment in more socially responsible times (my tertiary education mostly paid for under the Whitlam government, is no kind of government at all. In fact, why have it at all? If it can't provide service, we don't need it.
