Volunteer

Want to make a difference but not sure how? Do you have a few hours per week to spare?

The AUWU needs you!

Put your time, talents, and just plain perseverance to good use. Help us create a future where everyone has dignified social security and employment.

Try out an activity or project to see if it is right for you. Set your own hours. Work from home via the internet, or meet up with like-minded people.  Join your local action group, run AUWU stalls and talk to unemployed workers.

We are a mutually supportive group of concerned citizens fighting for the rights and dignity of unemployed and underemployed workers.

Please fill out the below form to sign up as a volunteer. For more information on what volunteering looks like, please see below. If you have any questions, please email auwucampaigns@gmail.com and we will be in touch.

As part of our Dignity Not Dole campaign, campaigners who sign up to an Action group and agree to coordinate meetings and stalls will receive a free activist package of leaflets, unemployed workers’ rights booklets and a AUWU T-shirt! If you would like this package, please email auwucampaigns@gmail.com after you sign up to request one.
