Yes ! Class action . I was just following orders ; didn't work at Nuremberg and shouldn't work here. The writer of this article is not alone and should never feel alone. We need to organize ourselves against these corporations who are using the unemployed to leech money from the tax payer. Also the people who work there are class traitors and should be treated as such.APR

Take any matter regarding your rights with regard to Centrelink qualification and entitlements to welfare advocates ...appeal to SSAT ... and then higher to AAT if necessary..do not give up any of your rights ... tell Centrelink after you done all required to jam their obligations up their collecitve arseholes. Then give this Christian Porter, a flame hot rocket up his rear end !!! I worked with Centrelink for 17 years ... I know what they're like !!! Most employees are okay ...but some strutt around like little "Heinrich or Henrietta Himmlers"! When the DSP doctor rings you for an "over the phone" medical review tell them to fuck off and send you a request in writing. They are doing nothing but padding their own little empires and patch of turf !

Hi. I know where ur coming from. Had similar issue with another job agency. They are mainly committed to making a profit and just statistics of how many numbers (not humans) that they gain employment or "train" or "upskill". Google "job agency false representation of clients", was on A Current Affair a few months ago. I left a high paid Gov. IT job in Sydney, due to family issues and stress to move with my Parents in QLD, due to the GFC and other factors, I had trouble finding any job and when my swvings ran out had to teceive "Newstart", be connected to job agency. I had a marriage breakup and lo add t my house to the Bank and fell into a "dark place". All they could advise me was to move back to NSW and get a job as no-future in a regional QLD town and I should never had left my job. Great advise when id moved my kids and settled. There job was to help me or support me-not put me down and give me the wrong advise just to get me out their hair. I tried changing agency's but as you will know, "easier to get a job" or blood from a stone. I ended up on anti-depresents drin king to excess and tried to od. All the agency did was BShit, Spent like 5 minutes on my Resume, took me doorknocking. I ended up getting a good job by myself but they probably got the credit. I never want to be in that place again. Your a human not a number or bludger. Found this Union from TV tonight and just laughing at comments from kids that "your just a bludger who doesn't wwnt to work" is a joke. Government needs to do something before theres a revelation or worst. Steve - former dole bludger.

@stevek666 Hey mate, it sounds like you have had a lot of tough times that are out of your control from what I have read. Regional Queensland is stuffed and all our local production profits are pilfered to South East Queensland. Honestly though, from what you have been through - I wouldn't expect you to be feeling all smiles and rainbows. There is no more "got the credit" as that system had more job seekers abusing it than anything else. So I am glad to hear you were able to pick yourself up, at a time when you probably felt really low. I don't think you really needed the help of the provider in the first place by the sounds of it but the system is geared towards helping those that have no common sense or basic skills - which is stupid and makes it seem pointless to everyone else. Positive outcome here dude, well done!

In regards to the original post. That's terrible. What a crappy situation to be put in. Just remember that no one can force you to take anti-depressants unless they are pinning you down and putting tablets into your mouth. You have a voice, you are a human with the same rights as everyone else. I would take your paperwork and proceed further. If the facts are clearly laid out a pro-bono law firm will do this for free if they think the evidence is there.

Know what you're on about, 9 months since I came off exemption for severe depression and herniated discs, was supposed to talk to physiologist and psychologist to go through my options for retraining and in this time I've only seen the psychologist once and at the end she recommended I go back to driving. My back can go at anytime and both Max and centerlink have had documentation from my doctor recommending retraining, yet centerlink get me to see a psychologist and after 5 minutes with her she recommends I can do 28 hours a week in my usual job as a long distance driver or labourer. Both Max and centerlink have told me to commit fraud by not telling prospective employers about my back condition. I'm on my 3rd consultant since February and while the one I have atm is good and trying to help he is now leaving Max because in his words "a person cannot help anyone while working here"

MAx employment in my experience purposely give all their "clients" the same appointment time just to humiliate them an waste their entire day, so 30 people rock up all with an appointment for 10:30 am????

I can empathise with this young person. The culture that the government has fostered in an unemployment services has left me psychologically crippled by anxiety, despite not being financially dependent on them, thank God. The combined effect is also driving me to suicide. Mainly because I need them but they are intolerable to engage with nor will they actively market resumes which is the only way to find work.
