Wow! I wish I had thought to take notes about all my experiences with Centrelink and the Job Service Providers. This is such quality information! I have had a lot of very similar experiences but unfortunately I have also had some horrendously much worse experiences. I have told my story to a few people but it would be so much easier to tell if I had taken notes like you have done with all the dates and everything.
Thanks very much for your insights. It seems the Australian population is dividing into two main demographic groups - the scammers and the scammed. However, with the help of IT, we'll soon be able to start scamming the scammers, and then maybe sense will start to prevail. I hope.
Recommend that everyone start a file as in a dirary and make notes of every interaction with either job search providers or Centerlink. With job search providers do this out of sight after you have left the premiss so they dont get suspicios and negative towards you. With Centerlink do your notes before you leave the building. When taking your jobs into your job search provider get them to sign, inital and date it and give you a copy of the document. You never know when you might need it.
