Unemployed Workers Rights Workshop – Wonthaggi

“Unemployed Workers Rights” is a workshop, proudly presented by the Australian Unemployed Workers Union. It is designed to give you tips on navigating Australia’s increasingly complicated and punitive welfare system, and also teach you about your rights at jobactive providers, Work for the Dole schemes and more!

All attendants will receive a free copy of the AUWU’s “Unemployed Workers Rights” booklet, a comprehensive document explaining the rights of all welfare recipients, and the avenues available to them, in the event of unfair treatment. All are welcome to attend this event and the schedule is as follows:

12 pm – 1pm: Lunch (gold coin donation).

1:00pm – 1:15pm: Introduction to AUWU.

1:15pm – 3:00pm: Workshop with AUWU representative Valerie.
