AUWU – SA Division Meeting

November 16, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm UTC+11

On Friday November 16th at 7:00pm @ the Box Factory, we are pleased to announce that Andrew Castrique from the Australian Democrats will be giving a presentation on “The History of Unemployment Policy in Australia, 1942 – Today”. This will begin at 7:30pm, after a brief meet and greet with AUWU members, and will go for approximately an hour (followed by questions/discussion).

At both events there will be food, coffee, and tea available for free. All welcome.

If possible, bring a gold coin donation for the Box Factory to help cover their insurance.

(they’re a great community centre and they let us use their facilities for free but only donate a gold coin if you are able to – you are not obliged to).
It’s a great opportunity to meet your peers who are unemployed/underemployed and discuss experiences faced when dealing employment service providers.
Any questions, just email auwusaoffice@gmail.com or call 0497 149 406.

I hope to see you all there,

In Solidarity,
Alex North
